Natural route of the towns

The Natural Route of the Towns connects the three villages following a course from South to North. It begins in Cerceda in the recreational area of the Puente de Madrid, goes through the town and leads us to El Boalo, where it passes by the San Isidro Chapel and follows the edge of the slopes of the Sierra de los Porrones before arriving in Mataelpino.

From that point, there is just one last stretch before reaching the end of the route at the Ponzonilla viewpoint, from where we can take in some breathtaking views of the emblematic Regional Park of the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares.

It’s a simple journey perfect for visitors of all ages that goes through green meadows, hundred-year-old ash forests, and landscapes where we can spot a variety of both predatory and migratory birds much to the delight of those making the trek.
