Mataelpino

 

  1. Santa Águeda Parish Church. It was built after the collapse of the San Andrés Church. It is modern construction, built in the second half of the 20th century. Typical materials such as wood and stone were used. It also houses the image of Saint Águeda, in whose honour the Day of the Águedas is celebrated.
  2. The Old House of Culture. A modern building made of granite Stone, it is located in western part of the town centre.
  3. Plaza de España. It is a small round square, surrounded by old buildings. The Camino de Santiago passes through it, as indicated by the milestone located in the square.
  4. Traditional Housing. These housings were built with stones from the area. There are some examples of traditional rural typology. Most of them date back to the 17th and 18th centuries, and some of them to the 19th century.
